Located in Nottingham, within 10 km of National Ice Centre and 11 km of Nottingham Castle, The Bowman by Greene King Inns provides accommodation with a restaurant and a bar, and free WiFi throughout… the location was perfect for us,we did not want to be in the centre of Nottingham.There was a bus stop at the gate and a tram stop just 5mins away which made easy access to the city for sight seeing and shopping.The breakfast we had booked was lovely and the menu for an evening meal was really good.

Gamston Lock, Nottingham by Marston’s Inns is situated in Gamston and offers a family-friendly pub along with a 27 room lodge, opposite Holme Pierrepont Country Park. To say that this hotel was a surprise to us is an understatement. The location was great and the vision of it was as good as the pictures. We were more than happy with the room and were very glad we chose to stay two days at this location. Looking for good food is no problem, you need only walk to the bar/dining area and you’ll be treated to a real event in culinary excellence. The breakfasts are reasonably priced and just divine. This hotel is high on my list for a re-visit in the future.
